About the Speakers:Frederick J. MarquardtFrederick J. Marquardt is Senior Managing Director of Morrow & Co., LLC, a proxy solicitation firm, based in Stamford, CT, and has over 35 years experience in the industry. He provides Corporate Governance Consulting, Proxy Solicitation and Advisory Services for companies in the United States, Asia, and Europe.Mr. Marquardt is a frequent speaker at law firms, corporate management groups, board committees and professional organizations on corporate governance and proxy issues. He is a member of the International Corporate Governance Network ("ICGN"), the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, and The Korea Society.Mr. Marquardt has an MBA (Finance) degree from St. John's University, and a BA degree from Queens College of the City University of New York.Christopher HummelChris Hummel is Vice President of the Western Region for Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. Chris brings to public corporations technology driven services designed to increase the effectiveness of shareholder communications and respond to the preferences and interests of shareholders. Fundamental to his role is helping corporations respond to economic and regulatory changes with emphasis on proxy processing, Transfer Agent services and electronic communication sourced through the Virtual Meeting, Shareholder Forum and Mobile ProxyVote. He is also responsible for the registered proxy business, providing Issuers with solutions that make it possible to consolidate both beneficial and registered processing environments. Prior to joining Broadridge, Chris was with Federated Investors, an investment management company. He is a member of the San Francisco and Silicon Valley NIRI chapters and a member of the Society of Corporate Secretaries.William P. FiskeWilliam (Bill) Fiske has more than 20 years experience providing strategic proxy solicitation and corporate governance counsel. He develops and implements targeted investor communication strategies for publicly-traded companies involved in shareholder meetings and corporate actions, including negotiated mergers and acquisitions, unsolicited takeovers, shareholder activism and proxy contests.Previously, Bill was a Senior Vice President at Corporate Investor Communications, Inc., where, prior to its merger into Georgeson in 2000, he was head of the firm's Proxy Solicitation and Corporate Governance Advisory Group.Bill earned a bachelor's in economics from Rutgers University. He has been quoted in a variety of industry publications including Investor Relations Magazine and The M&A Journal and has been a featured guest speaker at numerous industry seminars. Bill is a member of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals.
